With the opening of Dundarave expected to be
July 1, 1999, the Brudenell River Resort will become the first 36 hole complex in Atlantic Canada.
Dr. Michael Hurdzan and Dana Fry, two of the most highly regarded architects in North America were selected to design the course. The most up-to-date technology in construction has been used in the design of Dundarave. The greens have been growing with one of the newest forms of bent grass which will ensure consistently excellent putting surfaces.
The golf course will consist of five tee decks, measuring almost 7300 yards from the pro tees to a comfortable 5000 yards from the forward tees. The course has been designed to provide a challenging experience to all levels of golfers.
Dundarave will play host to the C.P.G.A. McDonald’s P.E.I. Challenge - August 25th to 29th, 1999. |
