Countryview Golf Club is located in Fairview on Rte. 19 approximately 20 minutes from Charlottetown overlooking the beautiful West River. As it’s name implies you can see the country for miles. Countryview is a 9 hole, par 36 layout featuring three sets of tees with the back tees measuring 3323 yards. Located here as well is a practice area featuring target iron area, driving range and practice green. The signature hole will be the par 5, #5 measuring 578 from the blue tees. Countryview begins easy - but as you play, each hole becomes more challenging. A test for all levels of golfers to play.
Countryview Golf Club was designed by William G. Robinson of Florence, Oregon. The course has met USGA requirements. The Bentgrass greens average 4800 square feet; the fairways are seeded with a mixture of bluegrass, Ryegrass and Fescue seed; the tees were sewn with a mixture of three ryegrasses and the rough is Fescue.
Countryview Golf Club is scheduled to open on or about July 1, 1999 to green fee and member play. |
