at 431 Crane Hill Road, in Westphal, Grandview Golf & Country Club
is a beautiful & challenging 18 hole regulation golf course on the outskirts
of Dartmouth, just 10 minutes from Mic Mac Parclo, east on #7 Highway.
Fully irrigated, the course with its professional layout and natural
beauty, will delight both the new and experienced golfer.
Sparkling ponds reflect the beauty
of the well-groomed bent grass greens and tees, wide bluegrass fairways
and majestic trees which abound on the course. The history of the area
is incorporated in our club crest, which features a uniformed golfer.
Both Admirals George and Phillip Westphal, who fought with Nelson at
Trafalgar, were born on Crane Hill, and both were knighted for gallantry
and bravery under fire. The course was designed by Bill Robinson of
Cornish & Robinson Golf Course Designers.
